St Valentine’s Day cupcake and collection gift ideas
February 14th… the day of love…
What is Valentine’s Day? Why do we celebrate it? Should you not love that person everyday and not just on one day of the year?
Saint Valentine’s Day or Valentine’s Day is celebrated on the 14th February each year. It is not a public holiday although I’m sure we would all like it to be but it is celebrated worldwide on the very same day.
It began as a celebration for the early Christian saints named Valentinus. Saint Valentine was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers that were forbidden to marry and for ministering for Christians who were persecuted under the Roman Empire. Whilst in prison and before his execution, Saint Valentine he wrote a letter signed “Your Valentine” as a farewell.
In 18th century England it evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their feelings for each other by presenting flowers, confectionery and sending greeting cards.
We have created a Special Valentine’s Day cupcake collection which can be purchased for your loved ones. Your loved one doesn’t just have to be your partner, husband/wife or girlfriend and boyfriend, you can also purchase for you sister, mum, aunty, uncle, grandad or cousin to show them how much you appreciate them.
These gift gestures are the perfect way to tell someone you love them.
